SAVE is thrilled to partner with Dick Beardsley for the 40th Anniversary of Medtronic TC Marathon. Dick Beardsley is an American long-distance runner best known for tying for first place with Inge Simonsen in the inaugural 1981 London Marathon and his close finish with Alberto Salazar in the 1982 Boston Marathon.
Team SAVE (home office located right here in Minnesota) is welcoming runners for the 2022 Medtronic Marathon and TC 10 Mile! Be part of our team dedicated to Suicide Awareness and Mental Health Education!
What sets SAVE apart from other organizations?
SAVE is the only organization to have developed an evidenced-based program for suicide prevention. SAVE is the only national organization to have an Executive Director that is internationally recognized. SAVE is the only suicide prevention organization that provides a full continuum of services from prevention to intervention to postvention. SAVE is the only organization that holds an interactive memorial program for those lost to suicide with over 800 funds currently opened. SAVE is the only suicide prevention organization in the country to be approved by the BBB.
As a SAVE runner you will be showing others that it's ok to talk about mental health at the same time remembering those we have lost, and taking time to think about our own struggles. You will also have the opportunity to talk with SAVE's Ambassador Dick Beardsley as you prepare for the marathon. Through your fundraising efforts you will help in SAVE'ing Lives!

Fundraising minimum $500 for the Marathon and the Half Marathon. Minimum $200 for the 5K/10K.
