Depression is a treatable medical illness marked by changes in mood, thoughts, energy, and behavior that affects more than 23 million adults and children each year. It is the most common serious brain disease in the United States. SAVE’s mission is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma, and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide.
The lifeline of SAVE is your generous donations. Your donations help us expand our reach and SAVE more lives. We are asking for your help in getting the message out that there is help and we can all be a part of SAVE’ing Lives.
We are asking for your help to inspire teens to exude confidence and make this our most successful event to date. Positive Vibes Only Fashion Show is one of SAVE’s events and one of many important fundraising events, it also brings the community together and provides us a forum to educate, bring awareness about mental health, but most importantly it is meant to help heal. There is a great deal of shared grief and experiences throughout these events.
