So...we are still hoping to have a real Tour De SAVE on July 25, circumstances permitting. In the meantime, SAVE is encouraging virtual rides during the month of May. My plan was to contribute 50 cents per mile for every mile I ride during May. That ended up being 555 miles, half on gravel half on road. Had some great rides and some a bit tougher with the short steep hills that accompany gravel routes. we are going to have a real Tour De SAVE on July 25th. Road rides from 7 miles to 50 miles. Gravel rides from 20 miles to 70 miles. Come join us. Will be adjusting even for pandemic safety. You can check that out on event page.

SAVE is obviously going to struggle through these times as well, since so much of its revenue stream comes from events. But it is more important than ever, as we are just beginning to see the massive mental health fallout from COVID-19 stress. There are so many crucial non profits worthy of financial support right now, but if you would like to contribute to my donor drive for SAVE and support a great organization, I invite you to do so. Once again, I ride in honor and memory of my younger brother, Chris, who we lost to suicide back in 1998.
