Hello everyone! This year is the 45th annual grandmas marathon and I will be participating in honor of Timmy Dasovich, a dear family member and friend that we lost last September. It was 11 years ago when Timmy ran Grandmas as his first and only marathon. This will be my first full marathon, but being able to do this for him and our family is an honor. Because of these circumstances I have teamed up with SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) to help spread awareness for suicide and suicide prevention.
You may be wondering what SAVE does to be exact. To start, SAVE is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors and is based out of Bloomington, Minnesota. They work towards education and awareness of suicide and its prevention, as well as provide resources for survivors, and grief support for those affected by suicide. Their mission is "to prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource to those touched by suicide" and is based upon the belief that suicide is preventable and that we all have a role in preventing it. Their website is linked below if you would like to learn more about them!

My current fundraising goal is $500 but any donations are greatly appreciated and they go to a great cause and organization.
Thank you very much for your support!
