Laura Trujillo is a producer of words, four children and, most nights, dinner. Laura worked for 20 years as a reporter and editor with newspapers and magazines in Cincinnati, Phoenix, Portland, Ore., and Albuquerque. Her most recent work, “Stepping back from the edge: My mom’s suicide changed everything. Here’s how I found hope again” was published in USA Today in November. Laura’s mother, who loved to hike, ski, read and spend time with her eight grandchildren, killed herself in 2012. Since then, Laura has been trying to understand why. She is represented by William Morris Endeavor and lives with her husband and four children in Cincinnati, and can be found on twitter @lauraftrujillo.
